Communion Along the Way
Communion Along the Way:
A Playful Study of the Lord’s Supper
Communion Along the Way: A Playful Study of the Lord’s Supper equips Christian parents to understand Communion deeply and share it confidently with their children. Rooted in Scripture and guided by Joy Wendling’s Love, Teach, Play framework, this accessible yet theologically rich resource walks parents through the story of bread and wine—from Passover to the Cross and Resurrection—before helping them bring those truths into daily life.
With developmentally appropriate conversations, playful activities, and thoughtful reflection, families explore God’s protection, provision, and promise in ways children can grasp. Rather than adding another task to a busy schedule, Communion Along the Way transforms ordinary routines into sacred opportunities for lasting discipleship at home.
