I’m Joy Wendling: friend of Jesus, wife, seminary grad, and Children’s and Family Minister turned Stay-at-Home Mom to 5 girls. Join me as we explore our calling to introduce our kids to Jesus and watch as the Holy Spirit transforms their lives. We call this privilege Spiritual Parenting or Christian Parenting. Every day God wants to partner with us as he pursues a relationship with our kids. God is so faithful and recently has been weaving many resources together for me. In today’s episode, I share a few of the books I have been reading and the theme of them and what God has been teaching me, and it’s all about grace and humility.
A few of today’s topics include: Mom Set Free and When Strivings Cease; God-smart vs God-connected kids; Creating Windows and Framing your own faith; Modeling confessing our sin and our need for grace; we don’t need to do more, but see more purpose in what we do, and modeling inviting Jesus into our daily lives.
