I’m Joy Wendling: friend of Jesus, wife, seminary grad, and Children’s and Family Minister turned Stay-at-Home Mom to 5 girls. Every day God wants to partner with us as he pursues a relationship with our kids. And, because research shows God created our kids to learn best through play, we might just have a little bit of fun while we are at it.

Happy Mother’s Day week!
I fully believe that God wants you to enjoy being a mom. It is a gift and a blessing. When we do it with Him, instead of for Him, we are able to model God’s love for our children while experiencing joy in our motherhood. Then, our children will be able to know that Jesus didn’t just die for them to have eternal life in heaven, but abundant life here and now with Him.
In this episode, we look at the 4 messages of the Connected Families Framework and how we can use play to help our children experience and know:
- Child, you are safe.
- Child, you are loved.
- Child, you are called and capable.
- Child, you are responsible.
You’ve got the Holy Spirit! You can do it, mama!
